Red Edible berries in July

This shrub can vary from 3-12 ft., but it most often grows to about 4 feet. It tolerates shade or sun, and dryish or moist sites, but does best in well drained soils with humus. Fruit is attractive, salmon colored, edible berries favored by birds.
