About the Cascara

A small native tree growing up to 30 ft.. Best used in a forest setting in which its handsome foliage is not damaged by pollution. This tree is underutilized in ornamental landscaping – it is truly an attractive shade tree with few problems. Tall color is usually bright yellow. The bark can be used as a laxative.
