About the Common Snowberry
A low twiggy shrub usually reaching about 2-3 ft.. In winter it has distinctive white berries that can be food for wildlife or used in flower arrangements. Wildlife tends to eat the other plant berries, leaving the snowberries to the last in winter. Berries are high in saponins and though are not good for humans to eat, they can be used to shampoo hair. It very adaptable to many different growing conditions.
